A figure from my past life passed into the picture
Now I’m picking up the pieces of the scriptures
Long list of wrongs and the way to get back home
This weight on my backbone’s unbearable
20-ton thoughts, let me share a few
Listen close, open up your heart so we can share a view
Daring you, to try my shoes, blue but not suede
Wading in the water but not saved, Jesus
Thought I had something like Yeezus
But he got believers, sweet mother of peace
Why did you leave us
Oh it was me and my belligerent demons, should’ve
Paid to lift the curse and take the cleaning
But I’m too rehearsed in giving without receiving
Living without a reason, swimming in open seas

Some real artist shit, head harder than bricks
Fed letters to lyrics, but the sad part of it is
Wisdom comes in and bends into a rhyme
But it’s much more time ‘for it bends into my mind
Swims into my actions, bringing my heart to shine
